This category is open to all staff in the NHS that are not clinically qualified. For example; a manager, receptionist, cook or cleaner, someone that inspires you and has gone over above and beyond the call of duty. The individual might be a colleague or someone in another organisation who has made a positive difference in their workplace. Please tell us why you would like to nominate them. We would like to hear inspirational stories of people putting outstanding effort into their work.

  • Nominations should be no longer than 500 words
  • Include the name of the nominee
  • You can nominate people from 1948 - 2018
  • Why are you nominating this person?
  • Questions to help your submission:
    Evidence of their accomplishments? – E.g. detail the achievements, breakthroughs and other improvements they might have made.
    What was the improvement? – Detail how this improvement was sustained and or developed further, shared with others locally, regionally or nationally.
    Who has benefitted? – detail how patients, communities and or colleagues have benefitted through the nominees actions. Particularly highlighting the positive impact made, Include particular groups where applicable, and to what extent.

Frieza started her NHS career in 2005, as a participant on the Graduate Management Training Scheme.   She has worked at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) as Head of HR Operations & Resourcing since 2015 and has been a huge source of inspiration and innovation during her time here. Team of professional who work tirelessly for the safe discharge of their elderly patient. The team is proactive. Syringa has the most discharge in a year and lowest readmission rate of 8.8% (one of the lowest in the country ) This team has done fund raising for their patient.
